there
i see her
flying across the cathode ray
blinding my sight
with dazzling beauty

she jumps from the screen
dancing in liquid circles
                                     around my bed
daring
          calling
                     teasing

i reach up
pulling her towards me
                                and fill my hands
with her laughing frame

she seems to lighten in my grasp
vanishing
amid the amber light
hiding
among my wrinkled sheets
then suddenly
                       gone
